Author Guidelines

The conference invites submissions of 

  • Abstract (200-500 words, single paragraph, no reference allowed)
  • Extended abstract (500-1200 words, structure mirroring a full paper, ref. allowed)
  • Full conference paper (up to 2500 words, )
  • Panel discussion proposal (max. 750 words)
  • Workshop proposal (max. 1000 words)

Abstract: An abstract of maximum 500 words should outline the content of your presentation sufficient for the reviewers to make acceptance decision and for audience to decide if the presentation is likely to be of their interest. 

Extended abstract: Extended abstract may have 500-1200 words allowing for more details including references if the authors think necessary. 

Full Paper: The full paper should be original unpublished work of 1800-2500 words with a 200-word (max.) abstract and a full reference list.

Panel discussion Proposal: A panel discussion proposal should have a title and the name of the convenor, a description up to 750 words that gives sufficient information for the organiser to assess appropriateness for the conference and a list of panel members. The length of each panel discussion is 90 minutes.

Workshop Proposal: A workshop proposal should have a title and the name of the convenor, who acts as the workshop chair and is responsible for organising the papers and their reviews. A minimum of 3 papers are required for each workshop.

Research & Publication Ethics

Authors must obtain the required ethics approval from their affiliated institutions where applicable. Approval to undertake the research must be granted before any work requiring approval begins.

We adhere to the Guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors are expected to be aware of, and comply with, best practice in publication ethics in relation to guest authorship, dual submission, plagiarism, and competing interests. 

Review criteria & process

Submissions are reviewed and considered by the working groups formed by conference committee members. The conference has a zero tolerance policy for plagiarism.

  • Originality
  • Rigour
  • Significance and impact

Publishing of Conference Proceedings

The conference proceeding will be published including abstracts, extended abstracs, full papers, panel discussion and workshop proposals, as an open access e-book bearing an ISBN and with a DOI. Your accepted submissions will only be included in the proceeding if one of the authors registers for the conference before 20 July, 2026. Failure to register for the conference will result in the submissions being removed from the programme and proceeding without further notice. If you are registered but unable to attend the conference, please notify the Organising Committee info@ideas-conference.org by 20 July 2026, to either withdraw your presentation from the conference programme (please check the withdwral refund policies on conference' main website for details) or make special arrangement to give presentation online.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another conference or journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures (if applicable) have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

The names and email addresses entered in this site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this conference and for the publication in the proceedings (if the submission is accepted and work presented) and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
